Changes in the housing support provider - this applies to all sheltered residents
Last autumn we held meetings for all our sheltered housing residents to explain that Victory's contract to deliver the housing support service would be ending and a new organisation will be contracted to deliver this service.
Norfolk County Council (which funds the service) is in the process of appointing a new organisation. They expect the decision to be made in June 2012 and are aiming for the new organisation to take over the service from September 2012.
In February 2012 we wrote to all residents about this change. A copy of the letter can be found below. Either Victory or Norfolk County Council will write to residents again once there is further information about which organisation will be delivering the service.
Planning for the future of 3 sheltered schemes
During autumn 2011 we met residents to explain that we are looking at options for the future use of these 3 schemes. We held further meetings at each scheme in February 2012.
We now have a proposed way forward for each scheme. During May 2012 we are holding drop in sessions at each scheme when we will be explaining our proposals to residents and asking for their feedback.
The final decision has not yet been taken. Victory’s Board will take decisions during the summer and we aim to communicate these to residents in October 2012.
Details of our proposed way forward and details of the drop in sessions are included in the leaflets below.
