We try to respond to all repair requests in a reasonable time. All repairs are grouped into various priority categories and each job is given a target for completion. Although these targets are not legally binding, every effort will be made to finish work in the time specified, providing that access to the property is available. The category and priority given to your repair request will depend on how urgent it is.

Routine Repairs:
Routine Repairs are repairs that are classed as Day to Day repairs, any works reported will be completed within 28 working days.

Repairs in this category are for problems that do not represent a risk to people or property, and where discomfort or inconvenience is minimal. They could be:

  • Broken door handle
  • Door sticking

Urgent Repairs:
Urgent Repairs are repairs that are completed within 7 days from when the report was logged.

Repairs in this category are for problems that cause discomfort or inconvenience, but are not serious hazards. They could be: 

  • Water penetration
  • Defective ball valves
  • Defective taps

Emergency Repairs:
Emergency Repairs are repairs that when logged will be made safe within 4 hours and completed within 24 hours.

Repairs in this category are for problems that represent a high risk of injury, death or severe damage to your home. They could be:

  • Gas leaks or hazards
  • Blocked flue to fire or boiler
  • Dangerous structural faults
  • Temporary repairs after fire, flood, lightning or severe storm damage
