Special Topic Groups

From time to time we set up special Topic Groups. These groups complete a specific piece of work, report back to a Forum and then disband. The key to taking part will be your interest and experience in a certain area. For instance, if we’re looking at our complaints procedure, we’ll want to involve people who have raised complaints and had them dealt with well, and also not so well. We’ll advertise in Victory News when we’re looking for residents with specific experiences, and we may also contact people directly to see if they want to take part.

If you have a particular area of interest let us know and if a group is created on this topic we can invite you to join in.

Wanted....New members for our Resident Auditors Panel

What will it involve?

You will be part of a group of involved residents brought together to investigate a particular issue and then report your findings back to either one of our Forums or the Resident Scrutiny Committee. You will carry out surveys, interview other residents and staff, review records, documents, policies & case studies.

How long will it take?

The timescale will vary depending on the task given to the Panel. It could be a few months but most auditor activities are likely to be completed over a couple of weeks. You will also be given a designated start and finish date.

What sort of person would it suit?

Someone who is comfortable communicating, with good analytical skills, tactfulness, a willingness to learn and the ability to concentrate on the issue at hand without being distracted.

Mystery Shoppers

We’re always looking for Mystery Shoppers – residents who can test our services and report back on how we’re doing. This could include testing services over the telephone or visiting our offices. It’s important that we have lots of fresh faces to take part so that staff don’t get to know who’s real and who’s ‘testing’.
